Welcome to the LBF website.
LBF2012 took place 2 to 4 Nov 2012. It included a great mix of literature, politics, sci-fi and history. The poetry workshop and open mike also returned, but we added an event in association with Gutter magazine. And the Sunday was something very special: tea with Alexander McCall Smith. The full line-up is here. It was an absolutely cracking programme, if we do say so ourselves.
We’ll soon be hard at work on next year’s festival, so watch this space!
